Gostner Hoftheater

The Gostner Hoftheater is a theatre in Nuremberg’s district Gostenhof. The theatre shows mainly plays by young and contemporary authors but also modern versions of classics.
The theatre pub LOFT offers music, cabaret and reading events, as well as art exhibitions. The concert series “LOFT Lo-Fi” presents for example young bands from the region.
The Hubertussaal (in Nuremberg’s district Gibitzenhof) is one of Gostner Hoftheater’s venues. Bigger productions, guest permonfances and bigger concerts are shown here.
For the Gostner Hoftheater another focus is the youth theatre which shows plays for the young audience. And young people can also get active themselves: Besides the youth theatre club “GOSTNER Theaterjugendclub” there is now also a youth club called “GostAct” for young people from the age of 14 up and expecially young refugees. It focuses on fun and joy for theatre, an exchange between different cultures, creativity and a community feeling.
